PERAN BIBLIOTERAPI DALAM MENGATASI PERMASALAHAN SISWA

Abstract

The development of students is sometimes distracted by some factors. Its distraction can be influenced by their environment physically, psychically, and socially. The various problems make the different solutions for each students so teachers need to understand an alternative problem solving. One of problem solving which can be applied in the classroom is through Bibliotherapy.  It can solve the student problems. It can be defined as a guided reading activity which its purpose to assist someone to answer a question about the problems they have based on literacy. Bibliotheraphy is an appropriate method for teachers to solve the students who have social, emotion, education, and academic problems. Applying bibliotheraphy in the classroom give students opportunities to solve their problems at school. The applying can be done by comparing problems and problem solving on the book then the teachers can choose even develop their best version problem solving.

 

Abstrak

Perkembangan siswa terkadang terganggu oleh berbagai faktor. Gangguan tersebut dapat dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan baik fisik, psikis maupun sosial. Permasalahan yang bervariasi membuat penanganan juga tidak sama antara satu anak dengan anak yang lain sehingga guru perlu memahami alternatif pemecahan masalah. Salah satu alternatif pemecahan masalah yang dapat diaplikasikan di kelas adalah melalui biblioterapi. Biblioterapi dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang di alami siswa. Biblioterapi dapat didefinisikan sebagai kegiatan membaca secara terbimbing dengan tujuan untuk membantu memecahkan permasalahan seseorang yang membutuhkan terapi. Biblioterapi dapat digunakan untuk membantu seseorang untuk menjawab pertanyaan tentang permasalahan yang di alami dengan berdasarkan literatur. Biblioterapi merupakan metode yang tepat bagi pendidik untuk mengatasi siswa dengan permasalahan sosial, emosional, pendidikan, dan akademik. Penggunaan biblioterapi di kelas memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk mengatasi permasalahan di sekolah. Penerapan biblioterapi dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan permasalahan dan cara memecahkan masalah tersebut yang terdapat di buku lalu guru dapat memilih bahkan mengembangkan pemecahan masalah yang terbaik versi mereka.
