PENERAPAN MEDIA TELEVISI PINTAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KEAKSARAAN ANAK KELOMPOK B2 TK CUT MUTIA BANDA ACEH

The ability to recognize letters is needed by every child to support other aspects of development, especially language. However, not all children have adequate memory and concentration skills as of literacy is different for each child. The purpose of this study was to find out the improvement in the ability to recognize letters of children of B2 TK Cut Mutia using Smart Television media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The instrument used in the form of observation sheets, the number of subjects 23 children and data analyzed using the percentage formula. The results showed that in the description of observations of children's activities in the first cycle the number of scores obtained with categories not yet developed 3 children (15%), categories began to develop 3 children (15%), categories developed according to expectations 9 children (37) %) and categories developed very good 8 children (33%). Based on these data it appears that only a small proportion of children are still constrained in letter recognition. After the corrections and actions of the second cycle, the results showed that there were not yet developed as many as 2 children (8%), categories began to develop 2 children (8%), categories developed according to expectations 10 children (44%) and categories developed very good 9 children (33%). Based on these data it can be concluded that the application of the Smart Television media can improve the ability to recognize letters in children B2 Cut Mutia Banda Aceh.
Abstrak
Kemampuan mengenal huruf diperlukan oleh setiap anak guna menunjang aspek perkembangan lainnya terutama bahasa. Namun demikian tidak semua anak memiliki kemampuan daya ingat dan kemampuan konsentrasi yang memadai sehingga kemampuan keaksaraan juga berbeda bagi setiap anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan mengenal huruf anak kelompok B2 TK Cut Mutia menggunakan media Televisi Pintar. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi, jumlah subyek 23 anak dan data dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada gambaran observasi aktivitas anak pada siklus I didapatkan hasil bahwa kemampuan anak pada tahapan belum berkembang sebanyak 3 anak (15%), pada tahapan mulai berkembang sebanyak 3 anak (15%), pada tahapan berkembang sesuai harapan sebanyak 9 (37%) dan pada tahapan berkembang sangat baik sebanyak 8 anak (33%). Berdasarkan data tersebut terlihat bahwa hanya sebagian kecil anak yang masih terkendala dalam pengenalan huruf. Setelah dilakukan releksi dan tindakan siklus II didapatkan hasil belum berkembang sebanyak 2 anak (8%), pada tahapan mulai berkembang sebanyak 2 anak (8%), pada tahapan berkembang sesuai harapan sebanyak 10 (44%) dan pada tahapan berkembang sangat baik sebanyak 9 anak (33%). Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media Televisi Pintar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf pada anak kelompok B2 TK Cut Mutia Banda Aceh.
