KAJIAN JENIS KESANTUNAN TIDAK TUTUR SISWA MULTIETNIK PADA SMP FATIH BILINGUAL SCHOOL BANDA ACEH

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan kesantunan komunikasi siswa berbagai etnik pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Fatih Bilingual School Banda Aceh. Hal yang akan diteliti adalah jenis kesantunan apa sajakah yang digunakan siswa (SMP) Fatih Bilingual School Banda Aceh dalam berkomunikasi sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian lapangan. Penelitian akan dilakkan dalam enam tahapan. (1) merancang dan menditribusiakan instumen pendataan etnik siswa, (2) mengelompokkan hasil pendataan untuk pedoman pengumpuan data, (3) merekam komunikasi siswa saat jam bebas/istirahat di tempat umum seperti kantin dan tempat oleh raga, (4) mengubah data rekam menjadi tulisan, (5) menganalisi data dan mendeskripsikan hasil analisis, (6) menghitung persentase kemunculan setiap jenis tindak tutur yang digunakan oleh siswa. Perolehan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa multietnik dalam berkomunikasi menggunakan lima jenis kesaantunan tindak tutu. (1) panjang pendek tuturan. (2) urutan tuturan, (3) intonasi dan kinesika, (4) penanda kesanatunan, dan tanpa kesantunan. Disimpulkan bahwa siswa multietnik menggunan jenis kesantunan tindak tutur sesuai dengan hasilpenelitian.
Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of describing the politeness of communication of various ethnic students at Fatih Bilingual School Junior High School (SMP) Banda Aceh. The research parameter was the kind of politeness used by SMP students in daily communication. This research used qualitative approach. This research was manifold field research. This research carried out in six stages. (1) organizing and distributing the students’ enthnic data instrument, (2) classifying the results for data collection procedure, (3) recording student communication during break time in public place such as canteen and sport hall, (4) transcribing the recorded data into writing, (5) analyzing the data and describing the results of the data analysis, (6) calculating the percentage of occurrence of each type of speech acts used by the students. The results of the research indicate that multiethnic students communicate using five types of speech acts; (1) length of speech, (2) speech sequence, (3) intonation and body language, (4) politeness and impoltiness gesture. Overall, the results of research depicts that the multiethnic students use the kind of politeness speech acts.
