EFFECTIVENESS OF IMPLEMENTING DEEP BREATHING RELAXATION IN EFFORTS TO REDUCE ANXIETY IN PREGNANT WOMEN WITH HYPERTENSION

Hipertensi pada kehamilan meningkatkan risiko komplikasi dan sering disertai kecemasan yang dapat memperburuk kondisi ibu dan janin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas teknik relaksasi napas dalam dalam menurunkan kecemasan pada ibu hamil dengan hipertensi. Desain penelitian menggunakan pra-eksperimen dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest. Sebanyak 20 responden ibu hamil dengan hipertensi menjalani intervensi teknik relaksasi napas dalam dua kali sehari selama tujuh hari. Tingkat kecemasan diukur menggunakan kuesioner DASS 42. Hasil menunjukkan penurunan skor kecemasan dari rata-rata 12,2 (kategori sedang) menjadi 8,4 (kategori ringan) setelah intervensi. Uji Wilcoxon menghasilkan nilai p = 0,001 yang menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan. Teknik ini terbukti efektif, sederhana, dan dapat diterapkan secara mandiri, menjadikannya intervensi non-farmakologis yang layak untuk dimasukkan dalam program perawatan kehamilan, khususnya pada ibu hamil dengan risiko hipertensi.
