Kecemasan matematika (math anxiety) merupakan salah satu masalah yang dialami mahasiswa calon guru, termasuk mahasiswa PGSD, yang dapat memengaruhi kepercayaan diri dan efektivitas mereka dalam mengajar. Model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) diyakini mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa melalui pengalaman belajar bermakna sehingga berpotensi menurunkan kecemasan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan PjBL pada mata kuliah Matematika SD dalam mengurangi kecemasan matematika mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Bina Bangsa Getsempena (UBBG). Penelitian menggunakan metode evaluatif dengan desain post-test only survey yang melibatkan 185 mahasiswa. PjBL diterapkan melalui penyelesaian proyek matematika berbasis konteks nyata pembelajaran SD secara kolaboratif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket kecemasan matematika yang mencakup indikator physiological tension, worry, avoidance, dan self-confidence, serta diperkuat oleh data Evaluasi Dosen oleh Mahasiswa (EDO) sebagai data kuantitatif pendukung persepsi mahasiswa terhadap proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 167 mahasiswa (90,27%) berada pada kategori kecemasan rendah, 18 mahasiswa (9,73%) pada kategori sedang, dan tidak ditemukan kecemasan tinggi. Temuan ini selaras dengan hasil EDO yang menunjukkan tingkat antusiasme tinggi, pembelajaran yang dirasakan menyenangkan, serta kemudahan pemahaman materi. Dengan demikian, penerapan PjBL terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi kecemasan matematika dan meningkatkan keterlibatan belajar mahasiswa PGSD, serta memberikan implikasi positif bagi pengembangan pembelajaran matematika yang lebih humanis dan kontekstual di program studi PGSD.
