The publication ethics of Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan IPA dan Etnosains (JIPIE) is an essential foundation in developing a credible and respected scholarly network. Publication ethics reflects the quality of authors’ work and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method.

Therefore, it is important to establish ethical standards for all parties involved in the publishing process, including authors, editors, reviewers, publishers, and the academic community.

The editorial board of JIPIE carries out its responsibilities professionally at every stage of publication. JIPIE is committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint, or other commercial revenues do not influence editorial decisions.

Publication and Authorship
1. All submitted manuscripts are subject to peer review by at least two qualified reviewers.
2. The review process is conducted using a blind peer-review system.
3. Manuscripts are evaluated based on relevance, scientific quality, originality, significance, readability, and language.
4. Editorial decisions include: accepted, accepted with revisions, or rejected.
5. Revision does not guarantee acceptance.
6. Rejected manuscripts will not be reconsidered.
7. Manuscript acceptance complies with legal requirements related to copyright and plagiarism.
8. A research work may not be published more than once.

Authors’ Responsibilities
Authors are required to:
1. Ensure that the manuscript is original.
2. Declare that the manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
3. Participate actively in the peer-review process.
4. Revise manuscripts according to reviewers’ and editors’ recommendations.
5. Ensure that all listed authors have made significant contributions.
6. Guarantee the authenticity and accuracy of data.
7. Disclose any conflicts of interest.
8. Properly cite all sources.
9. Report any errors found in published articles.

Reviewers’ Responsibilities
Reviewers are required to:
1. Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts.
2. Conduct reviews objectively and professionally.
3. Provide clear and constructive feedback.
4. Identify relevant uncited references.
5. Report suspected plagiarism or duplication.
6. Avoid reviewing manuscripts with conflicts of interest.

Editors’ Responsibilities
Editors are responsible for:
1. Making final decisions on manuscript acceptance.
2. Maintaining the quality and integrity of publications.
3. Considering the interests of authors and readers.
4. Publishing corrections or retractions when necessary.
5. Ensuring transparency of funding sources.
6. Making decisions based on academic merit.
7. Preserving reviewer anonymity.
8. Investigating ethical misconduct.
9. Avoiding conflicts of interest.

Publication Decision
The editors of JIP_IE decide which submitted articles are published based on their scientific validity, originality, and relevance. All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software.
Editors may consult with reviewers or other editors in making publication decisions.

Fair Play
Editors evaluate manuscripts solely based on intellectual content without discrimination regarding race, gender, religion, citizenship, or political views.

Confidentiality
Editors and editorial staff must not disclose information about submitted manuscripts to anyone except authorized parties.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
All parties must disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect the objectivity of the publication process.

Reporting Standards

Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication

Authorship of the Paper

Fundamental Errors in Published Works
Authors must promptly notify the editor if significant errors are found in their published work and cooperate in correcting or retracting the article
