PEMBELAJARAN DARI RUMAH (LEARNING FROM HOME) DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19: PERSEPSI ORANG TUA

This Research is descriptive qualitative study that aims to determine the perception of parents about distance learning (online) during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data were obtained used questionnaire instrument with Likert Scale consisting of 14 positive statements. The population are the parents of students affected Covid-19. The conclusion of study is that some parents perceive learning at home to be effective because of several advantages obtained from online learning including that parent can monitor children’s learning progress, the relationship between children and parents is closer and knowledge of information and communication technology is increasingly increase.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi orang tua tentang pembelajaran jarak jauh (daring) selama masa pandemic Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrument angket dengan skala likert yang terdiri dari 14 pernyataan positif. Populasi adalah orang tua siswa yang terdampak Covid-19. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adalah Sebagian orang tua memandang pembelajaran di rumah efektif karena beberapa kelebihan yang diperoleh dari pembelajaran daring, diantaranya orang tua dapat memantau perkembangan belajar anak, hubungan antara anak dan orang tua terjalin lebih dekat, dan pengetahuan tentang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi semakin bertambah.
