Abstract

Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui beberapa tes kondisi fisik, yaitu leg dynamometer, pull up, push up, T-test, Balke Test untuk memperoleh nilai VO₂Max, dan sit up.

Abstract
This study aims to descriptively analyze the physical condition of rock climbing athletes at S.O.S Climbing Club Banda Aceh. The research used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study were 10 athletes, consisting of 6 male athletes and 4 female athletes. Data collection was carried out through several physical fitness tests, namely leg dynamometer, pull up, push up, T-test, Balke Test to obtain VO₂Max values, and sit up. The results showed that the average leg muscle strength based on the leg dynamometer was 103 kg, which falls into the poor category, the pull up ability was 10.2 repetitions categorized as fair, push up ability was 29.9 repetitions categorized as good, VO₂Max value was 34.16 ml/kg/min, and sit up ability was 29 repetitions per minute. The results show that the physical condition of S.O.S Climbing Club Banda Aceh athletes still varies across the different components measured. The push-up component showed relatively the best results, while leg strength based on the leg dynamometer is a component that still needs attention. These research findings can be used by coaches as a reference to design more targeted training programs according to the physical condition needs of rock climbing athletes.
