Mathematical learning is dynamic in classroom implementation. This is because mathematical material has different levels of difficulty. One of difficult mathematics topics for students is geometry especially three dimensions topic. Teacher innovation is needed to solve this problem so that mathematics learning becomes easy, undestandable and interesting for students. Applying discovey learning model with video instruction is one of the innovations could be made by teachers and researchers to overcome students’ problems. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe students’ improvement in learning three dimensions topic by using discovey learning model with video. Collaborative classroom action research between teachers and researchers was used in this studi. The classroom action research was conducted in two cycles consisting of six meetings. Data collection instruments using student woksheet, tests and observations of teachers and researchers during the learning process. The results of this study show that applying discovery learning models assisted by video could increase students’ interest and learning outcomes in the three-dimensional material.
