PEMBERDAYAAN IBU HAMIL MELALUI KELAS ANTENATAL TERPADU UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KESIAPAN PERSALINAN AMAN DAN PENCEGAHAN KOMPLIKASI KEHAMILAN

Keselamatan maternal ditopang oleh kecukupan pengetahuan, sikap, dan kompetensi ibu hamil beserta keluarga. Namun, rendahnya literasi terkait tanda bahaya kehamilan dan kesiapan persalinan masih menjadi determinan tidak langsung tingginya mortalitas maternal di Indonesia. Atas dasar tersebut, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berorientasi pada penguatan kapasitas ibu hamil melalui kelas antenatal terpadu. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Puruk Cahu Sebrang dengan melibatkan 30 ibu hamil trimester II dan III sebagai sasaran, menggunakan metode ceramah interaktif, diskusi, demonstrasi senam hamil, dan simulasi Perencanaan Persalinan dan Pencegahan Komplikasi (P4K), dengan desain praeksperimen one group pretest-posttest. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan, dari rerata skor 58,4 menjadi 82,6 (p<0,05), serta peningkatan proporsi ibu yang memiliki rencana persalinan tertulis dari 26,7% menjadi 86,7%. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan kesiapan ibu hamil dan disarankan menjadi program rutin di tingkat pelayanan kesehatan primer.
